I cannot sing Yasmine's praises highly enough. I am a 65 year old female who enjoys running and swimming but, until 3 months ago, had never ventured into the world of Pilates. Believe me when I say I will never look back. I injured my knee 4 months ago - very bad timing as I am preparing for a 120km hike next month. My physiotherapist advised a) that I take up Pilates, and b) that I specifically attend Yasmine's classes. Since then I have gained considerable strength in my legs, arms and core. My balance has also improved dramatically. Yasmine explains each exercise very clearly with visual imagery to help identify exactly what she means. She demonstrates first and then watches carefully to make sure we are all working correctly. On top of that, each exercise comes with 3 different levels of difficulty so we can all work at our own pace.
All this is accompanied with very clear instructions regarding our breathing. Her approach is always positive which makes us want to work harder and she urges us to achieve rather than take the easy way out.
